God

We believe in one God, who is sovereign in creation, providence and redemption. God is spirit - invisible, personal, self-existent, eternal, and omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and unchanging. God is not limited or localized by time and space.

We believe that God eternally exists in three Persons – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The three persons of the Godhead are distinct personalities yet they are also co-equal, each executing distinct but harmonious operations in the work of creation and redemption.

The Bible

​

We believe that the Bible is the one true, infallible inspired Word of God. It is the sole and final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, conduct and practice.

 
The Bible consists of sixty-six books written by men of God, guided by the Holy Spirit. It is equally inspired in all parts and completely inerrant in the original documents.

Man

​

We believe that man was created by GOD in HIS image, but lost his perfect nature due to sin through his fall in the Garden of Eden. As a result of this sin, the natural man is at enmity with God and is subject to death- both physical and spiritual. Sin has brought guilt and death upon all Adam’s descendants and man is absolutely unable to save himself from eternal punishment by his own works.

Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in the eternal deity of Lord Jesus Christ- that He is God who became man (apart from sin), born into this world through virgin birth, for the purpose of redeeming us from our sins. His atoning death and resurrection is the only means by which we may attain salvation.

We believe in the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary. Through His substitutionary sacrifice, Christ has made possible complete and eternal redemption for all who believe on Him. God set His seal of approval on the work of Christ by raising Him from the dead so that He bodily ascended into heaven. God has enthroned Him at His own right hand in heaven, where today He is interceding for the believers, and preparing a glorious, eternal home for them. The Lord Jesus Christ will come again, and the final judgement of mankind has been committed to Him.

Salvation

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of mankind. The salvation He offers is eternally secure. Salvation is wholly of God by grace through faith, and not by human efforts.

 

The immediate and eternal salvation by grace through faith for every person who believes in Lord Jesus Christ's substitutionary sacrifice is the only righteous ground on which a Holy God can forgive sins. Man’s acceptance of this requires both his repentance of past sin and his acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as Saviour 
Salvation results not only in deliverance from final judgement in the life to come but also in the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit for deliverance from sin in this present life.

Church

We believe and understand from the Scriptures, that the true Church is not an organization but a living organism made up of all born again believers. All those who have been born again by personal faith in Lord Jesus Christ are indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Scripture identifies all believers as priests, who are to worship and serve God under their risen Head, the Lord Jesus Christ. The local church is the expression of the Church universal and is an autonomous body of believers, who gather as a corporate testimony to the Lordship of Christ and to the oneness of the Body of Christ, directly responsible to the Lord alone, under the leadership and guidance of elders.

Ordinances

We believe and observe the two ordinances given by the Lord Jesus Christ for His church:

1. Baptism by immersion for all those who are born again in Christ.

2. The Lord's Supper.

The Gospel

We believe and proclaim the Gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ as the only way for individuals to be reconciled to God and to be saved from their sins. It is the responsibility of every believer to be ready to tell of God’s love for humankind, the atoning death, resurrection, and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Future

We believe in the personal, imminent, pre-tribulational and pre-millennial return of Lord Jesus Christ in the air to rapture (catch up) His Church, when the dead in Christ shall be resurrected, and those living in Christ shall be caught up in mid-air, putting on immortal and incorruptible bodies to be with the Lord Jesus Christ forevermore.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.

We believe in the revelation of Christ in glory at His second advent to establish His kingdom on earth and to reign in righteousness forever and ever.
